Gloves.

Tonight was a 6 mile run. Here's the link.  I still don't seem to have this pace this cracked, it was the same as the 4 miles yesterday.

It was also very cold. I really don't mind the cold as, once I relax into it, I have literally warmed up but the one thing I always forget to do is to wear gloves.
I have some which I bought especially for when I went running last year but for some reason, without fail, I always forget to wear them until about a mile into the run when, as the rest of my body heats up, my hands start to freeze.
I do seem to have bad circulation in my hands and I start to lose the feeling in them as they get colder.
I don't really know why I am telling you this but I think it is to act as an aide-mémoire for myself.

The solution is in my hands. Or should be on my hands.

  1. Well, actually there is an explanation to your gloveless running. Gloves keep your hands warm but also spawn those nifty bacteria that we know reside between our toes. So, in order to enjoy a hot cup of chocolate after a good run, without it's beautiful scent being spoiled by the smell of used sockersocks...

Oh and don't do like me. Running with hands tucked away in pockets. It will cost teeth.
