Believe

Here's the recording of today's run

Or rather, a fake recording.

If you don't already know, I use an app on my android phone that records my movements during my runs.It does this via the GPS system, the same as is used in car Sat Navs.

I have found it very useful as, as well as recording the route, time taken and distance travel, it can work out for me my average speed and the pace I ran. It also can be programmed to let my know when I have done a certain distance or time and at what speed to run at etc. This last feature is invaluable during my training, especially on my tempo runs.

So overall a very useful app.

Except today.

I did the run, a wet 5 miles. 1 mile jog, 3 running, 1 jog. But when I came to save the run on my phone, wet hands and a touchscreen phone proved not to be a good combination and somehow I managed to lose it.

This is frustrating but all was not lost as it is possible to enter the details of the run manually on the Runkeeper website.

You will just have to believe me that I ran it.

Would I lie to you?
