Here's today's run.
Tuesdays are tempo run days. This means running alternately fast and slow and is good for building up strength.
This was how the training schedule was for today:
9M - 1.5M jog/strides, 2 x 2M fast with 400m recoveries, 1M jog
Spot the mistake?
I had this programmed into the running app on my phone and followed it exactly, as I am doing all my training, I need to be told.
Except of course this doesn't add up to 9 miles but only 7. (400m is a quarter of a mile)
So now I am not sure whether I have run 2 miles short tonight or not. I am thinking that it maybe should have read 2 x 3M fast, but aren't sure.
OK well, never mind. I'm sure it won't matter in the long run! (pun intended)
